Just like that super hot chick...

Just like that super hot chick. Looks great, but once your inside you wished you haddn't. How can anyone think this is any good. The food is so bad I stopped at Quick Trip on the way home to get something to eat.

Good place for a girls night out

Went to Aja with a group of my girls for a 30th birthday. The restaurant is hot - red & black and it is a trendy crowd. Good food for sharing and we ordered a little bit of everything to share. The rolls and dim sum are all really good, especially the lobster roll. The drinks were incredible and we had way too many of those. Our favorites were the Summer Delight and TY KU Superfruit Mojito which the waitress said was 100 calories, not sure if it is diet if you drink ten. Good stuff

my birthday dinner

I never have certain expectations these days, when i visit some place new. On Friday March 13,2009 around 8:30pm, my daughter and a friend decided to treat me to dinner at a somewhat new hot spot in Buckhead called Aja. I can say it was a interesting experience, but i would be lying. It was ???? snooty, the waiter after a two hour wait for a table was polite in a insulting way,and we let him know it was the first time for us, so i expected some level of understanding, but did not get it. To make the night complete, i was starting to relax and enjoy the evening, we had closed our tab but kept buying drinks, when a small framed dark haired waitress came over to me in the most insulting and courteous way and told me to leave or did she say go over in the corner and you can sit there, i need to set this table up. What the Hell !was this? I had just spent over $200.00 and was still spending, I'm over 50yrs and just had knee replacement surgery, so sitting and rocking was the best i could do. I did gaither my and the other ladies things, that were with me and hopped to the nearest exit and waited for them to stop dancing, then i told what happened, and i told the PR person on the outside by the door as well. It was her idea that i write this reveiw. I give Aja and it's personnel a humble thumbs down and as a government employee this reveiw, goes out to all i know. DON"T SIT DOWN in Aja's Resturant Lounge too long, you may get the BOOT.

Great atmosphere

I love all of Tom Catherall's restaurants. I usually go with my girlfriends and we stay after eating to drink. It is hard to find a place that you can go, eat, and hang out at all together. I love these restaurants because they are safe, have really good looking customers and guys don't bother us-unless we want them to (really good bouncers at all of them), and the bartenders are awesome! The food is good too. I am not a big fan of chinese anyway...but it is good.

It's 1970. Prom-time, Daddy's Amex, and..................!

For many of us native Atlantans who can remember prom-time, borrowing your Dad's Caddy, his Amex, and pinning that corsage on your date, and heading out to dinner at Camelia Garden's across from Piedmont Hospital, for a run down memory lane, come here. I swear, everything is in red/black, with that big Golden Budda holding court, and a silly Pan-Asian beginners menu and dim sum. Can this restaurant really be from the Tom Catherall, whose Prime at Lenox, with one of Atlanta's best sushi bars, and Home with the ultra Southern Suppers, now that it finally has changed chefs, be for real? Or, is that Tom in the bar, here with the rest of us, and the good old days, wishing they were like they used to be, when we went to the prom. Oh, just have another Mai Tai, and a Chung King eggroll.
