Awesome Furniture Buying experience!

Posted by ginfires on 10/26/2008

We actually visited the closing store in Lithonia and it was an AWESOME experience. The staff was super friendly! Our salesman Barry was Superb! The most knowledgeble furniture man I have ever met! We were especially excited to find out our new sofa was bulit right here in the good ol USA! I am making it my BUSINESS to PURCHASE as MUCH as possible "made in the USA"! That is the ONLY way we can bring the economy back! back to my experience....the furniture was A+! I have never had that much fun buying furniture, even the salesman said it was fun for him. We watched him talk this customer OUT of this TERRIBLE pattern fabric! You would of had to been there! IF you want QUALITY contemporary furniture that will stay in style this is your place!

Best place to get unexperienced customer service

The staff was not friendly. It was like walking in a showroom that is very imitative. The staff was not available. I was not greeted at all. At a glance it seems like a nice showroom, but as I continued to look around I discovered management/owners must spend the bulk of their time shopping other showrooms. I was in the store for 20 min. and not one person spoke to me. They had alot of furniture, but it did not matter because all the person behind the counter said was, " We have a bunch of fabrics that you can pick for the furniture. These people are in trouble. Can you say uncouthed. The best part of my visit to City Living, was leaving knowing I don't ever have to waste my gas or time visiting any of their showrooms ever again.

worst service in atlanta

This is the absolute worst furniture buying experience i've ever had. The sales staff at this store was so rude to us after they got our $5000 that it was unbelievable to my wife and me. When I finally couldn't tkae being treated like that any more and asked to speak to a manager I was told "we don't do that here" Meaning that they don't care if you have any problems. Also they charged us for things we didn't even get and acted like it was our bad that they had messed up. Do the owner a favor and don't go (the same furniture is available at a couple more stores in town) maybe after no customers for a couple of months he/she will wise up and fire the sales staff.

Excellent Service and Quality Furniture

The sales person was very professional and helpful. They provided useful design tips. The furniture is very high quality.

THE WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE , I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! OBNOXIOUS OWNER AND SALES STAFF. THEY WERE NOT INTERESTED IN WHAT I NEEDED BUT WHAT THEY WANTED TO SELL ME.
