Walgreens Health Services, a division of Walgreens, offers a variety of integrated healthcare services -- from cost-effective pharmacy benefit management and state-of-the-art mail service to specialty pharmacy and home care.
Through Walgreens Health Services you will receive the same high level of services, convenience and flexibility that you have come to expect from Walgreens. After all, our approach to patient care is consistent with Walgreens more than 100 years of pharmacy history and a proven track record.
Integrated, advanced technology
Patient care, medication safety and convenience are the cornerstones of our pharmacy service. Whether a prescription is ordered through our retail stores, our web sites or our mail service, our operations utilize a single, centralized patient information database. This means customers can get their prescriptions filled at any of the more than 5,600 Walgreens retail stores, anywhere, anytime. This database also helps pharmacists detect possible adverse medication interactions -- an added safety net for our customers. As we develop new operating systems for the businesses within Walgreens Health Services and integrate them with our retail system, we move closer to our goal of a universal patient-treatment record within Walgreens -- a very powerful tool for providing healthcare across the continuum.
The Walgreens Creed
We believe in the goods we merchandise, in ourselves and in our ability to render satisfaction.
We believe that honest goods can be sold to honest people by honest methods.
We believe in working, not waiting; in laughing, not weeping; in boosting, not knocking; and in the pleasure of selling our products.
We believe that we can get what we go after, and that we are not down and out until we have lost faith in ourselves.
We believe in today and the work we are doing, in tomorrow and the work we hope to do, and in the sure reward the future holds.
We believe in courtesy, in kindness, in generosity, in cheer, in friendship, and in honest competition.
Walgreens is still working to do things this way - even in the Internet age.

The Walgreens on Division and 28th and the Walgreens on 28th and Kalamazoo are the two worst Walgreens. They have terrible customer service. If you go during the afternoon, expect to wait at least 30 minutes before you talk to anyone. When you finally do get service, it will be from someone who is unhappy to help you and unwilling to fix any problems that may arise during the billing process. For example, I keep having the same problems with a particular refill--it eventually gets remedied-- but when I try to have the same prescription refilled again, it causes the same problem and the same hassle. Why can't they learn from their mistakes? I'm taking my prescription elsewhere because I do not have time to make four trips for one refill.

We needed a Dr on a Sunday and Walgreens was one of the few places (other than the expensive and busy local ER) that was open. We arrived very near their closing time, but despite that check in was quick and easy and they were pleasant and respectful. The Dr. gave excellent input, seemed to care not only about the 'job' but about my son and myself as a person. Gave my teenaged son age-appropriate advise and no lectures on what we had done wrong....just gave us the correct info for next time. Was even patient with a fidgety preschooler who was with us. Also touched on some points / gave advise on issues we were concerned with that had nothing to do with the reason for our visit. When she gave us the prescriptions she even recommended we go to a different location to have the antibiotic filled since that place would fill it free of charge. All in all a much better visit than I anticipated. Cost was about standard, actually less than I was anticipating. Will definitely use them again.

I can't believe Walgreens pays their employees to push each other around the store on a big blue cart. from the pharmacy thru the store pushin thier way past customers in line and in chairs waitng on their meds, 2 girls from behind pharmacy come out one pushing the other and goofin off instead of one taking the cart out to the back of store and the other should have helped the line of customers in line.I was staying out of the way so i didn't get ran over. Walgreens does not want to take medicaid patients cause of pay but will [pay thier employees to goof off and not wait on customers. this was on the second week of July. I'm sure they saw these employees on video.

Walgreens is a great spot to get your everyday needs. The nice thing is that there are so many spots and you will get the same thing at each one. Nothing is too expensive and when you need your meds/drink/random item, Walgreens is the spot. Its also helpful that many of them are 24 hours.

This walgreens is great. It's incredibly clean and the staff is friendly and nice. The pharmacist behind the counter always took the time to speak to me about my prescriptions when I needed something. They also have a reasonable food selection that isn't jacked up in price.
